Milton Kingsley lives a quiet, routine life in a small town in western Pennsylvania. His peaceful world is turned upside down when a UFO and its alien passenger crash land right in his backyard. Milton soon forms a close bond with the alien, whom he names Jules. Things get even more complicated when two curious neighbors, Harris and Curtin, find out about Jules, and the government quickly steps in.
